Surrender & Reclaim Fees
If you have decided to give your pet to Hi Tor Animal Care Center, you will be asked to sign a release form giving Hi Tor ownership of the animal. Once you have signed the release statement, you may not reclaim your pet but you are welcome to call us to check on the pet's status.
If your pet came into Hi Tor Animal Care Center as a stray or through an animal control officer, you may reclaim it by coming to the shelter during business hours. The fees below cover only a portion of our cost to collect, care for and treat stray animals. To reclaim a dog, a current rabies certificate and town license are required.
